Family Focus’s philosophies have evolved out of the staff’s experiences as adoptive parents, adopted persons, and child welfare professionals.
The perspectives are derived from deeply held beliefs about what it means to be parents, what it means to love, and ultimately, what it means to be human. These philosophies are the foundation of our programs.
Adopting from Foster Care
Family Focus places children who have been enrolled by their home counties in one of our programs
RAD! Program
Family Focus Adoption Services created the Relationships Are Decisions (RAD!) Program to work with older children in the NY State foster care system on adoption readiness, as well as skills for independent living.
Beyond Foster Care
For any kids connected with our agency we say, “Once Family Focus, always Family Focus.”
Home Studies
Our Family Services Program provides home study and post-placement/post-adoption services for families seeking to adopt domestically or internationally.
Birth Parent Counseling
